It has been a long time since the last newsletter but it’s now time to look back over 2009.  To that BBQ summer and mild winter!

Saturday 11 July was finals day at Onslow Village Tennis Club. The weather was not kind to the players, but they all battled through with a few stops along the way.

Hello everyone. Spring is here! Lets be ‘avin you.

Last month we held the Club AGM. We had a reasonable turnout, but we would like to have seen more of you. There were lots of positives from the meeting, particularly the reported successes of the various teams we enter in the winter leagues. Our finances remain in good health, and we have been able to carry out a number of repairs and improvement to the club and courts during the off season.

What a great summer we’ve had (despite the weather!), both in terms of playing and new members, due largely to the website. Many new members have joined, Welcome to the club and some of them have gone straight into the teams.
